The bill (Reg. No. 7078) confers the
title of honour "The City of Military Glory" to the cities of Ukraine, in the territory or on the
premises of which the defenders of Motherland demonstrated courage and mass
heroism in the combats of the Great Patriotic War. The bill amends clause 10 of
the Law "On the State Decorations of Ukraine."
The Committee members believe that adoption of the Law will facilitate military-patriotic work and upbringing of the young generation on the heroic traditions and deeds manifested in the fight against fascism.
